Randy Nelson started Blue Tree Real Estate Ltd. in the late summer of 2001. After 17 years in the home improvement business (and 10 years prior to that in the retail industry), working as a manager with record breaking company sales, he decided to begin his dream of opening his own business. Randy got his first real estate license over 31 years ago in California and later moved to Massachusetts where he kept his license active while continuing to work in retail. After moving to Colorado in 2000, he again attained his Colorado real estate broker's license and later his employing broker's license with the anticipation of Blue Tree's opening a little over a year later. With an ambitious work ethic, Randy loves the business of real estate, from working with foreclosures, to teaching his agents and clients the ins and outs of the market, to closing a challenging transaction without missing a beat. SHOP certified to serve your "Sensible Housing Opportunity Professional" needs. He also is very well versed regarding the ins and outs of foreclosures, HUD homes and bank owned homes.
Randy earned his BS in Business Administration at Long Beach StateUniversity, California. He has attended many seminars and conferences regarding nearly all aspects of large and small businesses. He is an avid self learner. He is a devoted family man and has been married for 29 years and has two beautiful daughters. Randy enjoys landscaping, fishing, golf, tennis. He also has numerous animals, including two horses (he knows horse property and water rights).
